Hey guys, just got a letter from holiday break offering me a phone interview for demontage work, just wondering from anyone else that has done it, is it worthwhile? what they usually ask for for demontage? whats their pay like this year? as i'm on welfare payments at the moment and would probably have to have my dole cut off if i was to work for the short time. and wondering will i actually make more working for them or staying on the dole?

Hi
Very personnal decision. You will have the greatest time on demontage, everyone who has done it enjoys it. Hard work but an experience for you. Phone HB and ask what the pay is, you can't really decide anything till you know that. If you work hard it would stand you in good stead to get a job next year so that might be a factor, but it is your decision. No doubt you will get more replies that will be more helpful
Good luck

Demoing will sure be more fun that signing on, but just work out how much money is in it, bearing in mind as Gillr said, it would set you in good stead to get a job next year, from march ish onwards. and u could always be really cheeky and apply to the other camping companies for a summer season next year and list the demo job as part of your experience and see what happens (u wouldn't have been the first to do it!)Good luck
